Finding your feet; Don't give up.

Updated: Feb 25

Many of us get to a point in our lives, where we try finding our feet; be it in business, career, ministry, academics or personal development. We go through struggles in the process; some an indication of discovering our strengths, weaknesses and the untapped potential in us.

In self discovery, you make mistakes, you might dash your feet against stone, you may fall and beat yourself up. You're not your mistakes/weaknesses. You're discovering what you're made of. It's like a child learning how to walk; he crawls, tries standing and falls, but he keeps going until the feet are strengthened to stand.

In self discovery, you make mistakes, you might dash your feet against stone, you may fall and beat yourself up. You're not your mistakes/weaknesses. You're discovering what you're made of.

It is important to understand this for yourself and for the sake of others. People who understand self discovery hardly judge . They understand that trying to suppress people in that state could make them develop low self esteem and lack of confidence.

Dear one, one step at a time. Don't be hard on yourself. Forge forward. Don't be afraid of making mistakes. You're better than those errors, so don't allow them to overshadow your strengths. You're more than you think. After discovering yourself, learn to tame the traits that could retire your progress and build on what energizes you for progress.

Always remember, every new discovery comes with new challenges. Failure is a necessary step to get to where you are going. Don't throw in the towel. Keep pushing harder.
